Yes! The 1990\retro is a fully-functional flash camera.
Yes! When switched to video-recording mode, the 1990\retro is fully-capable of capturing audio.
The 1990\retro is outfitted with six filter presets:
Y2K (Standard),
EasyPeach (Crimson),
MintWave (Green),
Lavender (Purple),
Black&White Noire (Black-and-white), and
Sunrise (Yellow).
Setup & Installation
To turn the camera on and off, simply press and hold the [ON | OFF | CAPTURE] button for 2.5 seconds. This button is located on top of the camera.

Battery & Power
To charge the camera's internal battery using the USB cable that arrived with your 1990\retro, simply insert the USB-C male connector into its corresponding female counterpart located on the bottom of the camera. The other end (the USB-A male connector) can be inserted into most universal charging blocks, and then plugged into its appropriate designated outlet.
The charging voltage for the 1990\retro’s internal battery is DC-5V.
From a state of near-depletion, performing a full recharge on the internal battery may take approximately 50 to 70 minutes.
Similarly, for the external battery pack, a full recharge may take anywhere from 55 to 90 minutes.
The 1990\retro leverages a high-capacity lithium-ion internal 180mAh battery capable of approximately 65 minutes of continuous operation.
When used in conjunction with the rechargeable lithium-ion 480mAh external battery pack, the camera has a total uninterrupted output of approximately 140 minutes.
Image, Video & Audio Quality
Image resolution of photos is 3760 x 2128 pixels, at 72 DPI. The bit depth is 24.
Video resolution is 1920 x 1080 pixels, at 30 frames per second.
Audio is recorded on a mono channel at a bitrate of 256kbps. The audio sample rate is 16.000 kHz.
Memory & Storage
For storage, the 1990\retro supports the MicroSD.
The 1990\retro is compatible with MicroSD memory card sizes: 8GB, 16GB, 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB.
The 1990\retro is only compatible with the File Allocation Table 32 (FAT32) format.
They are stored as JPG.
They are stored as AVI.
Shooting Modes & Settings
To enter video-capture mode from photography mode, press the plus sign [+] side-button. To enter photography mode from video-capture mode, press the plus sign [+] side-button once to enter Gallery mode, and then press and hold down the plus sign [+] side-button.
To access your media in Gallery mode within the 1990\retro's MicroSD card from Live Preview photography mode, press the plus sign [+] side-button twice
in unhurried succession.
Once in Gallery mode, you can press either the plus [+] or minus sign [–] side-buttons for bi-directional scrolling of all your media.
To exit Gallery mode, just press and hold the plus sign [+] side-button.
Media can be deleted directly on the device by first entering Gallery mode from photography mode by short-pressing the plus sign [+] side-button twice in unhurried succession.
After toggling through your media using the plus [+] and minus sign [–] side-buttons, hold down the minus sign [–] side-button until the [Delete this file?]
prompt appears on the display.
To switch from [Cancel] to [OK], short-press either the plus [+] or minus sign [–] side-buttons.
To confirm your selection, press the [ON | OFF | CAPTURE] button. The [Successful operation] prompt will appear, confirming your action.
To cycle between filter presets, simply press the minus sign [–] side-button while in photography mode. The filter will automatically be applied to your photo when you take a picture.

No, the camera is not outfitted with water resistance. It is not recommended to directly-expose the camera to liquids of any type.
The 1990\retro is designed to be by your side, always ready to capture the next big thing. As a best practice, we recommend to avoid exposing your camera to environments containing extreme heat, cold, humidity, and dust.
