Scope

This policy is divided by delivery destination. Section A applies to deliveries within the United States. Section B applies to deliveries to the European Union, the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, and prevails over Sections A, C and D for those destinations. Section C applies to deliveries within Asia. Section D applies to all other destinations. The General section applies to all orders.

General

1990 retro partners with international carriers including FedEx, SF Express, DHL, UPS and EMS, who work with local couriers to deliver to your door.

Orders and payments are subject to verification and approval before shipping. On average, verification takes between 12 and 48 hours. To help prevent card fraud, orders with incorrect billing information or requiring additional verification may be delayed or cancelled.

We require two to five working days on average to fulfil your order and transport it to our carrier's sort facility. Some items may take longer around major holidays, up to ten days, or where an item is experiencing stock availability issues.

We ship on business days only, and not on Saturdays, Sundays or public holidays. Once your order ships you receive a Shipping Confirmation email with a tracking number.

Where an order contains several items, they may ship separately and arrive on different dates, because our manufacturing partners are in different locations.

Tracking information can take several days to appear in a carrier's system. If your order was placed more than 5 business days ago and the tracking number shows no information, contact support@1990retro.com.

Section A — United States

Duties and taxes. 1990 retro acts as importer of record for deliveries to the United States and handles import compliance, duties and related fees.

Lost, stolen or damaged packages. 1990 retro is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged packages. If tracking states that your package was delivered to your address and you have not received it, report it to the carrier and file a claim with them.

We use the timestamp information from the tracking link and the carrier's delivery confirmation when reviewing damage or return requests, and we may not be able to honour a claim that is not reported.

Wrong address. It is the buyer's responsibility to ensure the shipping address entered is correct before submitting an order. We begin working on orders immediately and cannot make changes after an order is placed. Once an order has been processed by our shipping department we cannot retrieve it for an address change. We ship only to the address given at checkout.

Delays outside our control. We cannot be held responsible for conditions beyond our control, such as customs clearance procedures, holidays, severe weather, labour disputes or protests.

Section B — European Union, EEA and United Kingdom

B1. Delivery period. We deliver without undue delay and in any event within 30 days of the conclusion of the contract, unless we agree a different date with you. If we fail to deliver within that period, you may give us an additional reasonable period; if we fail to deliver within that period as well, you may terminate the contract and we will refund all sums paid without undue delay.

B2. Risk of loss and damage. Risk passes to you only when you, or a third party named by you who is not the carrier, take physical possession of the goods. Until then, loss, theft or damage in transit is our responsibility. If your order does not arrive, or arrives damaged, contact support@1990retro.com and we will replace it or refund you. You are not required to claim against the carrier.

B3. Import VAT, customs duty and fees. Your order is dispatched from outside the European Union and the United Kingdom, so VAT is payable on import. Depending on the destination and the value of your order, that VAT is either charged by us at checkout or collected at the border when the parcel is delivered. Which applies to your order is shown at checkout before you pay.

European Union and EEA. Where we are registered for the EU Import One-Stop Shop, VAT on consignments with a goods value of EUR 150 or less is charged at checkout at the rate of your delivery country and paid by us on import, and nothing further is payable on delivery. Where we are not so registered, or where the goods value exceeds EUR 150, import VAT and any customs duty are collected at the border and are payable by you as importer of record, together with any handling fee charged by the carrier.

United Kingdom. For consignments with a goods value of GBP 135 or less, UK VAT is charged at checkout and accounted for by us. Above that value, import VAT and any customs duty are collected at the border and are payable by you, together with any handling fee charged by the carrier.

Customs duty may apply to any consignment regardless of value. We have no control over duties or carrier handling fees and cannot predict them.

B4. Refused deliveries. If you refuse delivery in order to exercise your right of withdrawal, we refund you in accordance with our Refund Policy. Where you refuse delivery for any other reason and the parcel is returned to us, we may deduct the direct cost of return from any refund.

B5. Address errors. Please check your delivery address before submitting your order. Once an order has been processed by our shipping department we cannot change the address. This does not affect your right of withdrawal.

B6. Delays outside our control. Delivery estimates may be affected by customs clearance, public holidays, severe weather or industrial action. This does not affect your rights under B1.

B7. Your other rights. Your 14-day right of withdrawal and the legal guarantee of conformity are set out in our Refund Policy and our Terms of Purchase.

Section C — Asia
